Training and Experience
I have been
conducting forensic psychological evaluations for the past 12 years,
and my involvement in forensic psychology training and research began 18 years ago.
In 2000, I completed 18-months of
post-doctoral work in forensic psychology at the Summit County
Psychodiagnostic Clinic in Akron, Ohio. During that time, I completed
over 200 criminal forensic evaluations including competency, sanity,
drug dependence, aid-in-sentencing, and risk assessment evaluations.
During graduate school, I worked as a research assistant in the
Psychodiagnostic Clinic, studying MMPI-2 correlates in criminal
forensic populations.
Since 2001, I have conducted criminal forensic evaluations in private practice in Oregon. I conduct comprehensive evaluations based on up-to-date assessment
instruments and empirical research. My findings are conveyed, verbally and in writing, in clear language that is relevant to the psycho-legal referral question at hand. I am comfortable
and skilled in advocating for my data in legal settings.
